What’s been happening:

I was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Greensburg, PA on May 26, 1990. I even got a congratulatory telegram from Joe Paterno the day before, as arranged by my uncle, a high school football coach attending a football camp with JoePa. Coincidentally, May 26th is the same day I graduated from Penn State! I guess God was trying to tell me something. Even though my life has taken a completely different path than what I thought it would take during my years at PSU, it has been a good and rewarding life; I have been greatly blessed. I am still a huge Penn State fan. In fact, I rooted for Penn State, and told my parishioners too, against Notre Dame, when they met. I shocked a lot of people, a Catholic priest rooting against the most noted Catholic university in the land! But once Blue and White, always Blue and White. I do hope to get back someday to University Park at a reunion weekend and relive my fond memories of my days at Penn State. We are Penn State!
